I am sure you have kept up with the news.  We all have been affected one way or another by the Coronavirus pandemic.  Last week the Howard County Public School System announced a two week closure.  Governor Larry Hogan announced a State of Emergency so he could take certain action to mitigate the spread of the virus.

Given what our state and federal health officials are telling us, that being to limit our social interactions, I will not be holding in person “meet & greets” for at least the next two weeks, longer if necessary.

However, I would like to invite you to join me for online chats, issues briefings and Q&A.  Once this health crisis is over, we will still need to address the needs of our community and our public school students, teachers and staff.

I don’t want this to be a “one-way” conversation, but instead I want to hear from you.  What issues do you think are important for the School Board and even the County Council to consider going forward?  What things in our community negatively affect or positively enhance your quality of life and that of your family and your neighborhood?

Please sign up at the bottom of our website to get updates when we setup our online meet and greets.

I look forward to interacting with you and learning what you think important for District 4.

Thank you for your time.  Matt Levine
